These terms govern your use of UpCheck (upcheck.paasbox.com), an uptime-monitoring service operated by Mitja Martini ("we", "us"). By creating an account you agree to these terms.
UpCheck periodically sends HTTP(S) requests to web addresses you configure ("monitors"), records whether they respond and how fast, shows you response-time charts, and can publish a public status page per monitor. Check intervals range from 1 to 60 minutes depending on your plan.
You are responsible for the activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. You must provide a valid email address.
The Free plan includes up to 2 monitors with a minimum check interval of 5 minutes. The Pro plan costs €5 per month and includes up to 5 monitors with check intervals as short as 1 minute. Current pricing is always shown on the pricing section of the homepage and on the in-app upgrade page.
Payments are processed by Polar.sh, acting as merchant of record and authorized reseller. Your purchase is additionally subject to the Polar buyer terms. You can cancel your subscription at any time in the Polar customer portal (reachable from the in-app billing page); cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Only monitor endpoints you own or are authorized to check. Targets that resolve to private or internal network addresses are refused by the service. Each plan enforces caps on the number of monitors and the minimum check interval; you must not attempt to circumvent them. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service or use it to burden third-party infrastructure.
Check results are retained for 7 days and then deleted automatically. Monitor configurations remain until you delete them or your account. See the privacy policy for details on personal data.
UpCheck is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind and without an uptime guarantee or SLA for the monitoring service itself. It is an independent indie product; do not rely on it as your only safeguard for critical infrastructure. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.
You can delete your account at any time. We may terminate or suspend accounts that violate these terms. Upon termination, your monitors and their data are deleted.
We may update these terms; material changes will be announced on this page with a new effective date. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
