UpCheck Pro (€5/month) is billed as a monthly subscription. Payments are processed by Polar.sh, acting as merchant of record and authorized reseller — the charge on your statement comes from Polar. Purchases are also subject to the Polar buyer terms.
You can cancel at any time through the Polar customer portal, reachable from the in-app billing page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period: you keep Pro features until then, and you are not charged again.
If you are not happy with UpCheck Pro, email mitja.martini@gmail.com within 30 days of your first Pro payment and we will refund that payment in full — no questions asked.
For subsequent renewal payments, fees for billing periods that have already elapsed are generally non-refundable (consistent with the Polar buyer terms), except where the service was not provided or where the law requires otherwise. If a renewal charged you by surprise, reach out anyway — we aim to be reasonable.
Independent of this policy, Polar (as merchant of record) may issue refunds at its own discretion within 60 days of a purchase, for example to prevent chargebacks.
Nothing in this policy limits any statutory rights you may have as a consumer.
